Jim Daly

Jim Daly has been an artist his entire life. Encouraged by his mother who bought him art supplies while he was just a boy, he knew that when he “grew up” he would follow in the footsteps of his heroes—Norman Rockwell, Maxfield Parrish and Andrew Wyeth.

Jim was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma but spent much of his youth in Southern California. After a stint in the Army (where he boxed on the Army’s boxing team) he studied at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles and shortly thereafter began to live his lifelong dream.

Jim’s paintings of American genre are represented in many private and corporate collections and have received numerous awards. His works also appear in the permanent collections of several museums and articles about him have appeared in numerous magazines. Jim is an elected member of the Northwest Rendezvous Group of Artists.
